Wild Florida has announced the return of Gator Week, a unique event dedicated to one of Florida’s most iconic and often misunderstood creatures—the American alligator. From May 27 to June 1, 2024, visitors can look forward to a week filled with educational and interactive activities aimed at debunking myths and showcasing the fascinating world of alligators.

To many, alligators are seen as fierce predators, but Wild Florida aims to change that perception through live demonstrations and interactive experiences. Like many misunderstood creatures, myths develop based on a lack of knowledge.

Wild Florida’s Gator Week will feature a series of events designed to educate the public about alligators and their reptile cousins, providing insights into their behavior, habitat, and importance to the ecosystem.

Guests will have the opportunity to participate in fun photo-ops and enjoy guest appearances from popular inhabitants of the Gator Park. The event will also offer various gator-themed activities and demonstrations that promise to be both entertaining and informative.

In addition to the engaging activities, Wild Florida is offering free admission to the Gator Park for everyone who makes a small cash donation to the Wild Florida Scholarship Fund. These donations will assist graduating high school seniors from Osceola County in paying for college, making Gator Week not only an educational experience but also a philanthropic one.

Don’t miss out on this chance to learn more about alligators while supporting a great cause. Join Wild Florida, located only 15 minutes south of St. Cloud Florida, and a short drive from Orlando’s other world famous theme parks, from May 27 to June 1, 2024, for an unforgettable Gator Week.
