Road and ramp closures are scheduled for the State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) Capacity Improvements project next week. Motorists should plan for the following detours and closures:

Sunday, July 7 to Thursday, July 11, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

  • Northbound and Southbound Florida’s Turnpike to Northbound SR 417 (Exit 251): These ramps will be closed nightly for road work. Drivers will be redirected to travel southbound on SR 417 and exit at Orange Blossom Trail. Tolls for this detour will be suspended.  Click here for details.

Sunday, July 7 to Thursday, July 11, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.:

  • Northbound SR 417 to Florida’s Turnpike (Exit 12): These ramps will be closed nightly for road work. Drivers will be redirected to exit at Landstar Boulevard (Exit 14). Tolls for this detour will be suspended. Click here for details.

Sunday, July 7; Tuesday, July 9; and Thursday, July 11, from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.:

  • Southbound SR 417 from Boggy Creek Road to Landstar Boulevard: This section will be closed overnight for sign work. Drivers will be redirected to exit at Boggy Creek Road, travel west on Simpson Road and Osceola Parkway to access southbound SR 417 from Landstar Boulevard. Tolls for this detour will be suspended. Monday, July 8; Wednesday, July 10; and Thursday, July 11, from 11:30 p.m. to 4 a.m.:

  • Northbound SR 417 from Landstar Boulevard to Boggy Creek Road: This section will be closed overnight for sign work. Drivers will be redirected to exit at Landstar Boulevard, travel east on Osceola Parkway to access northbound SR 417 from Boggy Creek Road. Tolls for this detour will be suspended.

Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area for their safety and that of the work crews.

This work is part of a capacity improvements project on SR 417 from International Drive to SR 528, which started in February 2021 and is expected to be completed by fall 2024.
