Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) recently demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the community by dedicating two days to serve the Osceola Council On Aging during the public utility’s annual Days of Giving. This year, the initiative spanned two impactful days, bringing much-needed support to different areas of the council’s operations.

Day One: Food Pantry Assistance

On the first day, KUA employees rolled up their sleeves at the Osceola Council On Aging’s Food Pantry, where the team helped distribute food items to those in need, ensuring that local families and individuals received the essential supplies to nourish themselves. The volunteers’ hard work and dedication provided efficient and compassionate service throughout the day.

Day Two: Oakleaf Landings Senior Housing Facility

The second day saw the KUA team heading to Oakleaf Landings, the senior housing facility operated by the Osceola Council On Aging. There, the KUA staff was tasked with assisting in a paint project aimed at refreshing common areas within the building. Their efforts not only brightened the physical space but also uplifted the spirits of the residents. The volunteers showcased their teamwork and dedication as they completed Day Two’s community project.
