Help Now of Osceola, an organization dedicated to aiding victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other forms of abuse, works tirelessly to bring healing to survivors and influence social change. Last weekend, Help Now hosted the community for a heartwarming ‘Tapas with a Purpose’ fundraising event to support this crucial cause.

Help Now of Osceola County’s “Tapas with a Purpose” event provided a platform for community members to unite in support of a worthy cause while indulging in delicious food. The event showcased a variety of tapas dishes from local restaurants and caterers, including savory steak, meatballs, pulled pork sliders, beans and rice, chicken, cheese, an array of decadent desserts and more. Guests relished the chance to sample a diverse range of flavors, all while contributing to Help Now’s mission.

In addition to the exquisite food, the event featured a silent auction where attendees could bid on an array of items, such as vacation packages, youth artwork, golf outings, a variety of baskets, jewelry, sporting event tickets, and other unique experiences. A live DJ added to the festive atmosphere, keeping the crowd entertained and dancing throughout the night.

The event was a tremendous success, raising thousands of dollars for Help Now. These funds will support the organization’s essential programs and services, including their emergency shelter, counseling, and legal advocacy for victims of abuse. The event also raised awareness about the significant work Help Now does in the community and encouraged attendees to get involved in supporting the organization in other ways.
